Burglars ‘Tool-Off’ With Thousands of Dollars of Items From Auto Shop
A Grand Junction auto repair shop is the victim in a burglary that netted the thieves thousands of dollars worth of equipment.
the Grand Junction Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Mesa County are looking for leads to help them find and arrest the suspects in a burglary at Atlas Automotive, 1917 North First Street.
The burglary happened between 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday August 24 and 6:40 a.m. Thursday, August 25.
Sometime during those hours, the suspects broke into the auto shop and stole over $5,400 worth of items. The burglars also caused an additional $1,000 in damage to the business.
