Semi Crashes Into Overpass, Closes I-70 EB to One Lane

According to Kate Porras with the Grand Junction Police Department a semi-truck has ran into the 25 Rd Overpass!

One lane of Eastbound I-70 near the 25 Road overpass was closed at 8:30 this morning along with the overpass itself because a semi-truck ran into it!

There is debris on the interstate, and engineers now need to inspect the bridge to make sure it's safe.

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash.

The Grand Junction Police Department is assisting the CSP with traffic control and we'll keep you up to date as soon as we have more info!
