It's no surprise the popular Primetime Emmy Award winning show 'Breaking Bad' finale attracted a huge audience. But, who would have thought the use of a 1970s song by the rock group Badfinger in the finale would catapult the song to number one?

The song, "Baby Blue" was used in the final scene of the show creating a huge demand for the song, catapulting it to the top of iTunes Rock Songs list and having the residual effect of putting another 'Badfinger' song, "Day After Day" in the Top 10 (#7), as well.

It's said, 'Breaking Bad' creator Vince Gilligan liked to use songs with the word blue in the title, which fit with the blue methamphetamine lead character Walter White created. Also, the song's opening line, "I guess I got what I deserved," seemed to reference White's ultimate fate.
