Bold Thief Steals Bike From CMU Mav Center in the Middle of School Day
It doesn't appear a bicycle is safe anywhere including the Colorado Mesa University Maverick Center during the school day.
Crime Stoppers reports that on Thursday, December 1, 2016 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. a bicycle was stolen from the bike rack south of the CMU Maverick Center at 1040 Mesa Avenue.
The stolen bicycle a blue Gary Fisher Sugar 292 model mountain bike. It has silver attachments to both ends of the handle bars and a silver bike pump attached to the frame.
If you have seen this bicycle, witnessed the theft, or know the identity of the person or persons who stole it, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers of Mesa County at 970-241-7867.
