Aspen Police Make a ‘The Police’ Song All About Social Distancing

Aspen Police covered a song from 'The Police' but they made it all about social distancing.  It's 'Don't Stand So Close to Me' the social distancing version.

The Aspen Police Department have recreated the song 'Don't Stand So Close to Me' by The Police. The police department didn't just cover it, they rewrote the song with lyrics about the coronavirus pandemic. You can see they've kept the chorus the same 'don't stand, don't stand so, don't stand so close to me.' This song is extremely relevant right now, since we're all urged to stand six feet apart here in Colorado.

We're happy to see the Aspen Police Department show off their musical skills, while also sending out a message about social distancing. 'Don't Stand So Close to Me' by The Police is already a perfect song when it comes to social distancing, but they made it even better.
