Mesa County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a man accused of several sex crimes against an at-risk child.

The suspect, 37-year-old Joshua Johnson, is believed to have committed the sex crimes involving a special needs child between July 16 and July 17, 2016.

Johnson, who was arrested Friday (July 29), has been charged with multiple felonies including, Sexual Assault on an At-risk Juvenile, Sexual Assault on an At-risk Juvenile under 15 years of age by a person in a position of trust, and Assault in the Third Degree on an At-risk Juvenile.

Pending a court appearance, Johnson is being held in the Mesa County Jail on a No Bond Hold.
