Wedding in Steamboat Springs Gets Unexpected Guest
A picturesque scene. Two people very much in love having a beautiful wedding. Family, friends all in attendance. And one unexpected guest.
There we were in Steamboat Springs for the wedding of two of my closest friends. From the way the day started, wind, rain and a little bit of snow, we weren't sure if we would be able to hold it outside. But the weather, being the predictable thing it is in our state, decided to go along with the program and clear out.
The wedding went off without a hitch (pun intended) and as everyone got themselves in the party mood, we all stepped out the front door to allow for the party space to get cleared, and we saw this guy.
What would you do? Well, if you're like the rest of us, take pictures!
Bre'r Bear wasn't there to interrupt the wedding. He was there to pay his respects at the reception and gorge himself on the previous evening's shrimp.
As you can see, he's well aware he's drawn a crowd, sitting atop the dumpster. He first had to figure out how to get at the stuff, once he did, he didn't stay around long. Sort of an eat and run thing. As he decided to take his haul away and scamper up the hillside, he dropped several tasty morsels, and, being a bear, had to return for just a little more.

Finally, however, this huge animal returned to his home, smelling of shrimp and a lot of explaining to do to Mrs. Bear. We hope he had fun because we sure did!
