5 Things to Know Before Your Next Pepsi Center Concert
If your plans include a concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver, here are five things you should know before you go.
The Pepsi Center is a great facility for concerts, professional sports, and special events, but being informed of some key facts can enhance and ensure that you have the greatest experience possible. Considering how much you paid for those tickets, you want to make that nothing is going to disrupt or ruin your experience.
- 1
Revised Bag Policy
The bag policy has recently changed. No bags larger than 12"x12"x3" are permitted, and no backpacks of any kind are allowed. This includes backpack purses and drawstring bags. All bags are subject to search before entry.
- 2
Cameras
Audio and video recording devices are not allowed, but non-professional cameras are acceptable. However, lenses, whether they are detachable or not, must not exceed four inches. Remember flash photography is strictly prohibited.
- 3
Last Minute Tickets
It may be surprising to know that it is illegal to buy or sell tickets on Pepsi Center property. You are likely to find scalpers, though, close by. If you are buying, be careful. The Pepsi Center is not responsible, nor will they reimburse you for fraudulent or inauthentic tickets.
- 4
Ticketing Children
Generally, for concerts, kids two and older are required to have a ticket. If you have small children, your best bet is to get a babysitter. It's probably going to be cheaper, and better for everyone involved.
- 5
Prohibited Items
Outside food/beverage, laser pointers, selfie sticks, any form of marijuana, tripods and monopods, inflatable objects, drones, umbrellas, hard case containers, and weapons are all among the items that are strictly prohibited and won't be tolerated.
