People from all over the world visit Colorado, yet many of us who live here have missed out on so many of the cool things located in our state.

We all know people who always seem to be on the go traveling around and seeing the sights. Some people have lived in Colorado all of their lives and over the years have managed to get around. But, the fact is, regardless of how long any of us have lived here, we haven't seen it all.

Recently on Facebook, I asked our followers to name a Colorado place, attraction, or event they have never been to but would like to visit, see, or attend.

I hope Richard gets the chance to visit Rocky Mountain, National Park. The drive over Trailridge Road offers some of the most scenic and spectacular views in the entire state.

I hate to admit it, but this is something I have in common with Robert. Believe it or not, I have never been to Telluride. Another one that makes me sad to admit is Red Rocks, and there are quite a few people in my survey who are in the same boat. I've been to Red Rocks, but never for a concert, so my visits don't count, and attending a concert there remains on my bucket list.

Ah, yes, the 'unsinkable' Molly Brown. The Molly Brown House Museum represents some great Colorado history. I'm with Kim on this one. I've got to put this one on my Colorado agenda.

Here's one that was a regular part of my childhood and a real thrill every time I visited. However, it has been years since I've been to the Denver Museum of Science and Nature.

More than one person mentioned the historic Redstone Castle in the central Colorado mountains. A tour through an elite dwelling from the early 20th century would be very cool.

Some other places people mentioned they had never been to but want to go include the Great Sand Dunes, the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, a zipline, and the restaurant in Severance that serves the “best Rocky Mountain Oysters in the world”!

I feel like I have seen a lot in Colorado, but there is so much more to see. As the old song says "I've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there."  Sure, I'd love to visit the beach, but it looks like I have enough cool things in Colorado to keep me busy for a while right here in my backyard.
