Unofficial Start of Summer Approaches

This coming weekend (Memorial Day weekend, that is) marks the unofficial start of summer. But that hasn’t stopped some people from starting a couple days early.

Tuesday afternoon, some of the Townsquare Media employees noticed one of Grand Junction’s fire trucks at Sherwood Park. It appeared the firemen were testing equipment and one of the fire hydrants at the park.

The easy prediction would be that students from area schools would immediately show up and attempt to cool off on an otherwise warm day – which they did, of course.

I'm sure some adults would have loved to join in.
