There was no jocularity on Baywatch when I was a child. These brave men and women in red bathing suits were doing very important things, like guarding lives, performing CPR, running in slow-motion, and occasionally starting totally random spinoff shows featuring sea monsters. The new Baywatch movie is a new breed of ‘watch. These guys do joke around, constantly. It’s Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron as mismatched partners on the lifeguard scene, joking about one another’s testicles, performing highly unprofessional autopsies, and even arguing over severed limbs. Seriously: Not your Hasselhoff’s Baywatch.

And now, for their next trick: a sequel!

We weren’t sure what to think about Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs biopic after the first trailer. Yes, it seemed dramatic and fascinating, but also highlighted a performance by Michael Fassbender as the former Apple CEO that didn’t really look or sound at all like Steve Jobs. Could the film overcome that hurdle? After the film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival earlier this month to rave reviews — specifically calling out Fassbender’s “enthralling” and “stunning” — it may be time to fully buy in to this project. If you’re left doubting, a brand new trailer has arrived to help convince you.

Ride Along was one of the surprise hits of 2014, making a massive pile of cash in the traditionally slow month of January. A sequel was inevitable. Like clockwork, Ride Along 2 is set to arrive almost exactly two years to the day after the first film. Which means the second outing of Ice Cube and Kevin Hart’s mismatched buddy cops was written, shot, edited and will be released in the space of 728 days.

The new Black Mass trailer pulls the focus back from Johnny Depp’s performance as the notorious gangster Whitey Bulger, showcasing an ensemble of actors that has to be seen to be believed. And like any movie set in Boston, each and every actor wield their accents like bricks. This isn’t a Boston movie – it’s a Baahstin movie and everyone in the cast is seemingly trying to one-up the others when it comes to dropping their R’s.

If there’s one movie you’re excited about on December 18 this year it’s...probably Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But, if there are two movies you’re excited about on December 18, the other one is definitely Sisters, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The former SNL co-stars and Golden Globes hosts reteam for this only comedy bold enough to take on Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, and we’ve got the first trailer for you.

The first trailer for the new Steve Jobs biopic (titled Steve Jobs) didn’t show much from the film, specifically Michael Fassbender’s performance as that late Apple head. Today, a new trailer has been released that gives us a much better look into the film (and the life of Steve Jobs) and that’s both a great thing, and a not-so-great thing.

No one has ever been shy about putting Tom Cruise’s apparent death wish front and center whenever it’s time to promote a new Mission: Impossible movie. Like with previous entries in the series, most of the chatter surrounding Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation has revolved around the myriad of ways the franchise’s leading man put his life on the line for our entertainment. The new trailer puts many of his craziest stunts front and center, including that still-jaw-dropping shot of Cruise clinging to the the side of an airplane as it takes off. The movie’s message is clear: this man almost died for you. Reward him with strong box office receipts.

What at first seemed like a silly idea for a reboot/sequel has already proven itself as incredibly promising with just a couple of trailers — a new trailer for Vacation has arrived, and it’s just as funny as the previous ones (although it features less of Chris Hemsworth’s, um, area). A new generation of Griswolds hit the road for Walley World, and the results appear to be even more disastrous than the original gang’s vacation attempts.
