Support Mike! Help Feed Grand Junction’s Hungry

The Salvation Army is excited to have Mike Strasser back again this year camping out at City Market on 24 Road. Mike could be doing some fun things this weekend. But, instead, he will be camped all weekend collecting food to help fill the empty shelves of our food bank. This time of year they are very empty and every bit of help is greatly appreciated.

Mike says " Hunger is the problem, and YOU are the solution". Thank you for your continued support of his personal campaign to raise awareness of the needs here in Mesa County.

Mike has camped out for The Salvation Army for the last 4 years, each year exceeding his poundage goal. Last year, Mike collected 10,000 pounds of food, and this year's goal is 15,000 pounds.  This is a lofty goal, but with the help of our generous community Mike feels it  is a realistic goal.
