A home burglary on June 9 is the Mesa County Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week, and authorities are trying to identify the suspect.

According to Grand Junction Police, a surveillance camera captured the image of a subject in a home in the 300 block of Iron Horse Court, around 2:30 a.m on June 9. Earlier in the day, a subject entered a home in the 300 block of Red Ridge Court and removed a woman's large straw purse with a large black billfold inside, a man's wallet with identification cards, credit cards, and cash. Apparently, police think there is a connection between the two incidents.
