Although gas prices in the Valley have only risen around $0.13 per gallon recently, they could jump as much as $0.30 - $0.50 per gallon by Spring.

Grand Junction residents are sharing mixed feelings on the matter. Many say that they are not looking forward to the hit their wallets will take with the increase. They are also tired of seeing families without income as oil field workers are getting laid off as companies minimize to compensate for the price drop.

According to AAA, Crude Oil prices have recently increased and may be a contributing factor to the recent gas price increase.
