The Singing Ringing Tree is a metal sculpture that resembles a tree. What's amazing about this piece of art is that it was also designed to create sounds that can be quite eerie depending on how the wind is blowing.

The sculpture is almost 10-feet tall and is made of galvanized steel. To create sound, the designers, Mike Tonkin and Ana Liu, cut holes in the ends and bottoms of the pipes. By cutting the pipes into different lengths, they were able to tune the sculpture so it's musical range covers several octaves.

The sculpture sits atop Crown Point overlooking Burnley, in Lancashire, England. The sculpture is near Pendle Hill, famous for the Pendle Witches. So is it the wind or something else making that eerie sound?
