After years of using paper gift certificates, the Downtown Grand Junction Business Improvement District has announced the arrival of downtown Grand Junction gift cards.

The new gift cards available in increments from $5 to $500 and can be used at over 100 locations including shops, restaurants, salons, services, and art galleries.

Aaron Hoffman, Director of Marketing and Communication for Downtown Grand Junction says:

"The new gift cards are efficient and convenient. We offer an amazing mix of local businesses where these cards can be used."

Paper gift certificates that are still in circulation can be exchanged at no cost at the Downtown Grand Junction office at 248 S. 4th Street.

The paper certificates have worked for several years, but the fact is, they aren't very durable, and are subject to wear and tear. The new gift cards should be a welcome change.
