BBC Weatherman Suffers Huge Embarassment When He Can’t Remember the Capital of Scotland [VIDEO]

This BBC weatherman became extremely embarrassed when he could not remember the name of Scotland's capital, Edinburgh. Forgetting is one thing, but the timing of the mistake is what made it so bad.

Under normal circumstances, the weatherman, after a cue from the control room, probably would have made the correction and moved on.

However, with the Scottish Independence Referendum vote just a few days away, (September 18), a small gaffe became an unforgettable, 'red-faced' moment for this poor guy.

Depending on whether or not the citizens of Scotland vote to become an independent state, this guy could either be forgiven for the mistake or blamed for Scotland's break from the UK.
