A news reporter doing a live story about a family's elaborate Halloween decorations gets the frightfully funny surprise of her life when she finds out one of the decorations turns out to be alive.

CBC Toronto reporter Charlsie Agro was reporting on how much money a family spends each year to create the incredible Halloween display in their yard.

What she didn't realize was one of the ghouls wasn't a decoration, but a real person in costume who approached her from behind.

After the initial scream and shock, Agro had a good laugh about the ghastly encounter in broad daylight.

For the Martino family who spends about $1,000 a year on the Halloween decorations around their house, this makes it all worth the time and money spent.
