3,000 Coloradans issued personal breathalyzers in CDOT campaign
With so many car-related deaths this year, it's smart to assume that anything can help drivers become safer on the road-- and that includes handing out free breathalyzers. During the Colorado Department of Transportation's new campaign, Colorado Blows Before Driving, the department worked to educate Coloradans about impaired driving and how it affects the community, even going so far as selling breathalyzers at a deep discount, and in some scenarios, giving them away for free.
According to the press release, Coloradans are taking advantage of breathalyzers and putting them to use more than any other state. This makes a lot of sense-- sometimes, you don't know how impaired you are, and a breathalyzer is something that can help to keep you away from your vehicle.
