Think back now – what were you doing at age 11 when the new school year started? Carson Huey-You knows exactly what he’s doing at age 11 – he’s starting the school year as a freshmen at Texas Christian University.

To put this in perspective, most college freshmen entering their respective schools this fall were born in 1995. Carson was born in 2002.

According to TCU, Carson is studying to become a quantum physicist.

And to top it off (and to show just how smart this kid really is), Carson was co-valedictorian of his senior class last spring, scored a 1770 on his SAT, and speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently.

Not bad for an 11-year-old. How many of us can say the same thing at that age?

Also, if he graduates from college in four or five years, Carson will have a college diploma before or at the same time he gets his driver’s license.

Before Carson, TCU’s youngest student was piano prodigy Sam Hong, who entered at age 12 in 2006 and graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in piano performance.
