I have no forking idea what this old, metal Colorado contraption is. Take a look to see if you know what this contraption is that was popular in the 1950s.

My first thought when I saw this was 'is that a protractor?' and the truth is, I have no idea what it is. The Johnstown Historical Society posted these pictures on their Facebook and they have me stumped.

A couple of clues in figuring out what in the fork this is are:

Since it's something that's used in the kitchen, it's definitely not a protractor. My next guess would be it's something to squeeze lemons/limes, probably for cocktails. Some of the guesses on Johnstown Historical Society's Facebook include:

  • Nose hair plucker
  • Table cloth clip
  • Corn on the cop handle
  • Olive pitter

Let us know what in the fork you think this kitchen utensil is in the comments.
