Western Colorado’s ‘Chicken Coop Bandit’ Busted
Why on Earth would anybody want to steal a chicken coop? According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, a 50-year-old Grand Junction resident thought it was a good idea. Now he's busted, and the purloined chicken coop is now being held in evidence.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office reports Karl Antunes of Grand Junction has been charged with theft and criminal mischief. According the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the chicken coop was found in Antunes back yard.
You have to admit, insofar as chicken coops go, this is a really nice chicken coop. In case you're wondering, no chickens were found with the coop.
