Are you experiencing withdrawals when it comes to enjoying live music with your favorite Western Colorado bands? Me, too. Since we can't go to the show, let's bring the bands to us. Here's a look at 12 local bands we really miss.

Wow, look at that photo at the top. It looks just like the Brady Bunch intro, only a lot scarier. Those are some interesting characters.

What would you give for a chance to go out to the club and listen to a local band? Okay, during this crisis, some of your favorite entertainers are coming to you with live streaming performances. Grand Junction's Gerry Goodman and Gary Russell have been doing this ever since the quarantine went into effect.

Hopefully, it won't be long before we can go and listen to them in person. In the meantime, it's very important to me that we maintain a certain momentum, and these local bands stay at top of mind.

In no particular order, here are 12 Western Colorado musicians, bands, orchestras, and various other ensembles we are really missing. It's safe to say I'm going to skip someone, possibly one of your favorites. No offense intended. These are just 12 local artists right off the top of my head.

Twelve Western Colorado Musicians We Are Really Missing

There you go, a dozen local musical acts you probably miss right about now. The list could go on and on, but these are 12 I really miss. Oddly, almost everyone mentioned is a friend of mine and someone I'm in contact with on a regular basis, even during this recent crisis. Even at that, I look forward to hearing them play.

I always try to be an optimist, and it is my sincere hope we'll all be enjoying live music with these acts in the very near future. Until then, please keep following these local acts on their social media pages, and keep your eyes and ears open for future live streaming performances.
