TSA Agent Fails to Recognize Washington DC as Part of the US
A TSA agent in Orlando needs a refresher course on US geography after he detained a reporter from the District of Columbia saying he didn't recognize his Washington DC license as a valid form of identification.
The TSA agent then proceeded to ask the reporter for his passport, which he wasn't carrying since he hadn't traveled outside the United States. The reporter told the agent the license is valid and explained the US consists of 50 states and the District of Columbia, our nation's capitol, making him a US citizen.
After another TSA agent was called in to help, the matter was resolved. Let's hope the TSA sends this agent back to school to learn more about US geography and history.
