I posted a poll on Facebook asking what chain restaurants Grand Junction needs, here are the results:

1. In-N-Out Burger

Most of the votes went to In-N-Out Burger. This chain, based on the west coast, is a must-try for anyone that's never had it. There are plans to open one in Colorado Springs, but Grand Junction is not so lucky.

2. Jack in the Box

There used to be many more Jack in the Box restaurants in Colorado, but following a tragic incident at one of their Denver locations, many of them closed.

3. Panera Bread

This is another favorite of mine, and many of our listeners agree. The first time I tried Panera Bread's fancy sandwiches and soups was also in Colorado Springs, but there is obviously a lot of people in Grand Junction that feel we need one.

4. Tokyo Joe's

We have many options for sushi here in Grand Junction, but Tokyo Joe's is so much more than that. They are a well-liked chain that has great, albeit not the most authentic, Japanese food.

5. Steak and Shake

Steak and Shake is a burger joint that has AMAZING shakes as well. Oddly enough, the first time I ate there was inside the Hooters hotel in Las Vegas.

6. Joe's Crab Shack

Again, the first and only time I ate at Joe's Crab Shack was in Colorado Springs, but there's not really anything like it in Grand Junction.

7. Panda Express

A fast-food Chinese restaurant, what a concept! Panda Express may not have the most authentic Chinese food, but it is definitely tasty.

8. Dave and Buster's

Here's one that definitely gets my vote. Dave and Buster's is a unique restaurant with a giant arcade, kind of like an adult Chuck E. Cheese, but unfortunately, the only Colorado location is in Denver.

9. Cracker Barrell

Cracker Barrell not only has great, Southern-style food but inside each location is a little general store.

10. Hooters

Ok, I'll admit I just added this one on my own. I know, we used to have a Hooters, but I sure miss their wings.
