Texas Police Capture Unusual Runaway in Low Speed Chase [VIDEO]

Officers near Midland, Texas responded to a report of a runaway "hopping" down the road. What they encountered was completely unexpected.

As the police car approaches, it becomes clear the runaway is not human, but a kangaroo. Based on the amount of flashing lights it appears it took several police cars and officers to finally capture this fugitive. The kangaroo is not an escapee from a zoo, but is a household pet and as we understand it, was returned to it's owner
