The Associated Press has released its weekly poll of top high school football teams for Colorado. Although most of the classes with just minor (or no) changes in their respective polls, there is one class that has quite the shakeup this week.
The Triad High School football team in Klamath Falls, Oregon, defeated Elkton High by a score of 106-66, a combined—and astounding—172 points, setting a new state record. It looks more like a basketball score than football, as Triad scored touchdowns on 16 out of 17 possessions. The only time they didn't score was on their final possession, when they had the ball inside the Elkton 1-yard line.

As the lights came up at Stocker Stadium this Friday Night (September 15) it was a great night for high school football where the Fruita Monument Wildcats hosted the Eaglecrest Raptors from Centennial, CO in a non-conference game.
