Graded tapes are selling for hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars on eBay.

From follow-ups nowhere near as good as the original to unnecessary spinoffs and reboots, these movie franchises have overstayed their welcome with too many sequels.

Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Ash and many others are returning to a big screen near you.

Jason's four-decade long killing spree has included trips to New York City, Hell, outer space and Elm Street.

Film brought elements from the franchise's first three movies into a modern setting.

It took $6 million and almost 20 attempts for the studio to get a suitable script for the horror movie crossover.

"For me, it is way past an embarrassment," admitted the film's producer.

"It's not 'Jason Takes Manhattan,' it's 'Jason Takes a Cruise Ship,'" the movie's director later admitted.

"I remember then finding out it was a 'Friday the 13th' and being really disappointed," said one of the movie's stars.

"I'm not gonna put up with this bulls--- any longer. She's an 18-year-old-kid and she's dying in that water," said the actor playing Jason.
