I'm not a person who is usually afraid of heights. But after vising the Empire State building in New York and standing out on the observation deck, I could be. For decades, the Empire State building was the world's tallest building at 1,454 feet to the top of the spire and antennas. But it seems small compared to today's giant high rises.
