I need some help getting out of the doghouse.

It's not the first time in my life I've been in the doghouse. However, this is the first time I really don't mind.

This Friday (June 28) I'm participating in the Roice-Hurst Humane Society Shelter Break. That means I am a Canine Convict, and I will be locked up with a dog in a kennel until I can raise my $500 bail. And of course, I'm asking you if you would be willing to make a small contribution to the homeless pets at Roice Hurst - and at the same time help me break out.

I will be in the company of other Canine Convicts and Feline Felons, including my colleague and co-worker Alicia Selin from MIX 104.3. Alicia is an awesome co-worker, but she's been known to talk a little smack and so a challenge has been issued to see which station can raise the most money for Roice-Hurst.

I've also been getting some grief from Brian over at KKCO. Again, Brian is a great guy, but he's taken to talking smack. I have humbly and quietly received his banter, believing KOOL listeners will step up and show their colors and help KOOL 107.9 rise above the competition.

And, so, yes, I'm asking for your help - no matter how big or small. Would you make a contribution to my bail to help me get out of the doghouse, help Roice-Hurst, and silence my smack-talking rivals? All you have to do is go here to my personal Roice-Hurst fundraising page and make a donation.

Those that want me to stay in the kennel all day, can make a donation on behalf of KOOL 107.9 to Warden Anna's Counter-Bail Fund. But, why would you do that when you can help out your friendly radio DJ?

What I can tell you is I'm a dog lover, my sweet Frisco(pictured above) is a shelter pet, and I think this is a great cause. If you can do something to help our homeless pets at Roice- Hurst,  it would be fantastic, and if you could make a donation on my behalf I would greatly appreciate it, and I'll even give you a shout out on the radio.
