Your Someone Special is Waiting for You at Roice-Hurst Humane Society
Every person needs someone special in their life and that doesn't always have to be another human. These furry four-legged fun-loving pooches hope they can be special to you, even if they're not the only special ones you love.
Roice-Hurst Humane Society always has several dogs and cats available for adoption, so consider these three just a sample of the special friends all waiting for a permanent home and a loving person or family.
You can visit many of the animals at Roice-Hurst on a drop-in basis or make an appointment to visit by calling 970-434-7337. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The shelter is located at 362 28 Road.
If you already have a pet but would still like to help, Roice-Hurst Humane Society is always in need of pet supplies and people who can come visit and play with the animals. Call the shelter for specific needs.

Roice-Hurst Humane Society 1Roscoe
Terrier, American Pit Bull MixRoscoe is 2-years-old and loves people. He's well-mannered and very clever and smart. There's a lot he knows, but also a lot more he could learn with the right owners. Roscoe loves to be outside so a medium to large sized securely fenced yard is ideal.

Roice-Hurst Humane Society 2Falcon
Terrier, American Pit Bull MixFalcon is a 2-year-old that would enjoy being a part of a family. He's mild mannered, but needs his new owners to take obedience classes with him so they can learn new things and spend quality time together.

Roice-Hurst Humane Society 3Hendrix
Hendrix needs to be in a home with people who are highly active. He will need plenty of leash and obedience training and the staff at Roice-Hurst can recommend some excellent programs. Hendrix does suffer from some separation anxiety, but a stimulating environment along with training should help.
