Red Rocks Tabbed as Nation’s Best Outdoor Venue

Yes, it's true. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is awesome and the entire country knows it.

The concert industry publication Pollstar has named Red Rocks the best outdoor concert venue in the nation. That means it beat out iconic concert venues like Hollywood Bowl and Greek Theatre. You just can't beat the views and surroundings for a concert setting.

Red Rocks is an amazing place for a concert, though I have never been there for one. I am both ashamed and embarrassed to say in my 35 years of Colorado living I have never attended a concert at Red Rocks. What's wrong with me? What's wrong with anyone who enjoys music and hasn't been here at least once?

Concerts scheduled this year include Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Luke Combs, FACE Vocal Band, The Head and the Heart, Diana Ross, Chris Tomlin, and countless others. Could this be the year we make it to a Red Rocks show?

Attending a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre is definitely on my bucket list - just maybe not the 2019 list. Being named the nation's best outdoor venue is pretty special. Living in Colorado and never seeing a concert there is pretty sad.
