Newscaster Reporting on the Effects of Texas Drought Ends Up Knee Deep in Mud [FAIL]

Reporter Jeff Smith didn't realize his trip to a marina for a live report would have him knee deep, not in water but mud.

Smith was on location to report on how record low water in Lake Ray Hubbard near Dallas, Texas was affecting Captain's Cove Marina. What he didn't take into account was how deep the mud was in spite of the lack of water.

While embarrassing, the visual certainly made an impact on the long-term effects from the lack of rain in the area.
