The National Weather Service is warning Northern Colorado residents that roadways and sidewalks may be slippery on Thursday morning.

Last night's freezing drizzle combined with cool morning temperatures are causing the caution.

Temperatures are expected to warm up to 50 degrees by the middle of the day. Highs are predicted to be 64 on Friday and 70 on Saturday.

In typical Colorado fashion, cooler weather is expected to follow the brief warm stretch. The National Weather Service says there's a chance of light snow on Sunday night and Monday.
