The Montrose Library has decided to make a game out of their summer reading program for teens.

The program called 'Get in the Game, Read' encourages 7th through 12th grade students to read between four and eight books between May 31 and July 29.

To get teens started, the library is offering a free book to every teen that signs up for the summer reading program.

There will also be special teen events during the summer to give students participating in the program a chance to have fun and enjoy some friendly competition with other teen readers for some awesome prizes.

Teens can sign up at any Montrose Library District location or register online. The library also has a read with me summer reading program for babies to preschool as well as a reading program for elementary students.
