My children are all grown and I'm not even close to being a grandparent, but I do have memories of those days when they were much smaller and all the clothes toys and other items parents need for little tykes. I also remember how quickly they outgrew the clothes and how fast they went from bassinets to cribs to regular beds making it necessary to clean out the closets drawers and sheds as soon as the weather was nice and hold yard sales to get rid of things we didn't need to try and earn some money to buy and make room for the new things we did.

Yard sale success is measured by several different things including the weather and large numbers of people actually knowing you're having one. That's why I think the Mom 2 Mom Sale is such a great idea. For one, it's indoors so weather isn't a factor and the sale is supported by some great advertising so plenty of people know about it.
