UPDATED: Mesa County Sheriff’s Office Searching for Missing Clifton Man
A man who lives in Clifton left his home on Wednesday morning (September 26) around 10:30 a.m. possibly to visit a nearby friend. He has not been seen since and the Mesa County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help to locate him.
[UPDATE: Friday, September 28th 2:35 p.m.] The Mesa County Sheriff's Office reports Darrell Pottratz has been found and is safe, in good condition, and reunited with his family.
A citizen recognized Pottratz from published photos and called 911. The Sheriff's Office says, "Thank you to everyone who helped share his photo. The power of social media and this community is incredible! Thank you!"

The man, 61-year-old Darrell Pottratz, left his home in the 3200 block of Lorene Drive wearing blue pants and a green zip up sweater.
Pottratz is a white male, 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs 205 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Family members who made the report say Pottratz suffers from dementia and Parkinson's. He is also unable to speak due to a stroke.
