Marine Finishes 5K with 9 Year Old That Got Separated from His Group

As if being a Marine didn't make him enough of a Hero! This 19-year-old went above and beyond for a 9-year-old and that's why he's our HERO OF THE DAY!

I found this story on Facebook about a 9-year-old boy who was taking part in a 5K race in Michigan on Saturday, when he got separated from his group. Instead of freaking out he asked a 19-year-old Marine named Myles Kerr if they could finish the race together.

Of course Myles agreed, and now this photo of them running is going viral!
