Okay, so maybe learning a foreign language isn't all that easy, but it may be simpler than you think, and it's definitely free.

Thanks to a new program at the Mesa Country Libraries, Mesa County residents can learn any of 70 different foreign languages, and it won't cost them a dime.

Mango Languages is an online program helping people learn conversational skills in a variety of languages whether it be Spanish, Japanese, French, or even Pirate.(yes, you can actually learn how to talk like a pirate.)

Shana Wade, Interim Library Director for Mesa County LIbraries tells us it's a go-at-your-own-pace learning system that you can do on your computer at home. There are also app downloads for Apple and Android devices which makes it extra easy and convenient.

So, what's the catch? Thanks for asking.

There is one slight catch. You do have to have a Mesa County library card, but the cost to you to get a card is $0. You can get started on your way to learning a new language just by visiting the Mesa County Libraries website. Or you can visit any one of the eight Mesa County Library locations.

Who knows, the next time you turn on the radio I may be talking like Captain Hook.
