Lazy Man Olympics Field Nearly Set
The 2nd annual Lazy Man Olympics is scheduled to be held March 16 and 17 in Grand Junction and the field is nearly set.
Although the word "man" is in the title, this event is actually for men and women. It's two days of competition in three of the most physically demanding sports on the planet - poker, corn hole, and golf.
Contrary to rumor, the first team to actually break a sweat is not eliminated from the competition.
Two-person teams compete in each event and earn points based on how they finish. At the end of the second day of competition, participants gather for a fabulous celebratory dinner and the awarding of gold, silver, and bronze medals and various prizes.
The field has been expanded this year to allow for more participants, but there is a limited number of slots available --and only a few remain so don't delay.
