Jumping on a trampoline is typically thought of as a warm weather activity. But, with proper preparation, it can also be icy winter fun.

One requirement for this type of trampoline fun is subfreezing temperatures long enough to build the layers of ice. Those types of days have been few this winter in Grand Junction, but there's still a chance, so don't give up hope just yet.

As pointed out in the video, hooking a hose up in ideal weather for trampoline ice also means figuring out how to keep the hose and faucet from freezing. All it takes is a little bit of ingenuity and anything is possible.

What makes this truly cool is the awesome sound the ice makes when it cracks and breaks.
