John Mellencamp's daughter Teddi has joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is part of the Bravo TV show's eighth season, which premiered on Tuesday. The 36-year-old mom runs a fitness program with her husband in Los Angeles called LA Workout Junkie.

According to her show bio, "Teddi’s profession as an accountability coach and fitness influencer arose from her desire to help others achieve healthier lifestyles, stemming from her passion in achieving her own goals." But there is a caveat: "While not a certified fitness instructor or nutritionist, Teddi holds her clients accountable with daily check-ins and support as they work to achieve their goals."

She's one of Mellencamp's five children and one of two daughters to come from the singer's marriage to Victoria Granucci from 1981-89. She was born in her dad's hometown of Bloomington, Ind., but was raised in Hilton Head Island, S.C, where, according to her bio, she became a "competitive equestrian" at a young age.

Teddi Mellencamp moved to Los Angeles when she was 17 and lives there with her husband and their two children. Entertainment Tonight recently asked her about what her dad said when she told him she was going to be on the reality show. “He was like, ‘You know, hun? If it's gonna make you happy, do it,’” she said. “‘But all I can tell you is, be yourself.'”

Her new Real Housewives co-stars also weighed in on “the new girl." "I think you may like her,” someone named Erika Girardi told Entertainment Tonight. “Young, fresh, opinionated, but you know, you’ll like me better.” “She's got great banter, she's funny, she's sweet, she's down to earth," added Dorit Kemsley, apparently another person on the show.
