While some are drawn to these types of events for the vast number of celebrity meet and greets, others are more dedicated to dressing up in elaborate costumes; a phenomenon known as cosplay.

As you'll see below, the costumes varied greatly from sci-fi, superhero, video game, anime, and even children's television shows.

Perhaps the most popular cosplay theme this year was various Mandalorian characters, an offshoot of Star Wars that originated with bounty hunter Boba Fett.

Other pop culture icons represented included Spawn, Super Mario, various characters from the Batman franchise, Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men, Spider-Man, Garfield, and many more.
