Buffaloes Who Became the NFL's Best
It can be a bit of a challenge to find great professional football players who were born in Colorado, played high school and college football in Colorado, and went on to set records in the National Football League.

Remembering Phillip Lindsay
Who remembers Phillip Lindsay? He was Colorado's chance to check all the boxes. Lindsay was born July 24, 1994, in Denver. He grew up to play football at Denver South High School, where he became the school's all-time leading rusher with 4,587 yards. He set a record for all-purpose yards for the Buffaloes at the University of Colorado (5,760) and was then signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Lindsay was even the first undrafted rookie to make the Pro Bowl.
He surely would go on to have an epic career at Mile High right? Nope, Linsay was released at the end of the 2020 season.
