See Colorado's Stunning Fall Colors

Colorado's Bridal Veil Falls is a 365-foot free-falling waterfall outside Telluride, Colorado. September and October are a great time of year to watch the Aspen and Oak trees surrounding the falls take on red, orange, and yellow colors of fall. It's one of the most beautiful times of year to visit Bridal Veil Falls for photos and fall hikes.

Near-Perfect Colorado Hiking Conditions

If you try to visit the falls during the spring, they are often still partially frozen and surrounded by some ice and snow. June and July can sometimes feature some of the warmest temps on the Western Slope. Fall is the perfect time to enjoy the two-mile out-and-back hike to the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

Compete With Fewer Fall Crowds

During the fall months, the summer crowds have thinned out and the winter ski fanatics have yet to arrive. This means smaller crowds and more wildlife around the falls, including Black bears, mule deer, and lots of Colorado's birds.
