Yes, Colorado has so many fantastic food options. From breakfast to lunch, and dinner, there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of local options around Colorado. You certainly won't go hungry around here...

We're talking Mexican restaurants, burger joints, fried chicken spots, Chinese, and so much more, we're so lucky to have the incredible local food that we have. People will travel for the food options we have, it's pretty crazy.

Sadly, some long-time local favorites have been saying goodbye with almost no notice. That happened again this week to a family-run restaurant that has been around for over a decade...

95a Bistro & CO. In Colorado Permanently Closed

In a shocker to all who have frequently visited this fantastic locally owned and run restaurant in Lafayette, Colorado, it was announced by the owners in a message on their Facebook page and website that 95a Bistro & CO. is no longer in business.

After talking to some of the folks in the comments, it seems like this closure came out of the blue and none of their regulars had any idea this was coming. The owner's message said:

It’s time to say goodbye.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce our permanent closure starting today (04-09-24). This decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration, we believe it is the right step for our family and our business.
You can see the entire message to their customers below...
My friend Jimmy and his son had been going to 95a since he was in Elementary school and is now a college freshman D1 football player, so needless to say they, along with many others are incredibly sad about the closure.
