New Pizza & Beer Fest Coming to Downtown Loveland
If there's one thing most Coloradans can agree on, it's pizza; a lot of those people would also agree that pizza goes great with beer. Loveland's Verboten Brewing and Barrel Project is putting together its first festival to celebrate both.
When is Verboten's Pizza & Beer Festival in Loveland?
In 2026, after being in business for 13 years, Verboten Brewing and Barrel Project decided to start having a "Pizza & Beer Fest." The inaugural event would take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. and going until 9:00 p.m.
What Pizzerias Will Be Involved with Verboten's Pizza & Beer Fest?
As of this writing, Verboten hasn't put out a list of which pizza joints will be at their festival. There are two great pizza places in Downtown Loveland, Slice n' Roll and Urban Field; several of the restaurants in Downtown also have great pies, for example, Pourhouse.
How Much Are Tickets For Verboten's Pizza & Beer Fest?
The four-hour event has three ticket tiers:
- For $25.31, you can sample all the pizzas (no beer included).
- For $49.87, you can sample all the pizzas and get three Verboten beers.
- For $71.21, you can have unlimited pizza samples and unlimited Verboten beers.

The 'all ages" event will also feature a DJ, games, and the overall "laid-back" vibe that Verboten is known for. 2026 is also the first year of the Colorado Pizza Festival in Downtown Longmont; while not as big as Longmont's (with The Motet playing), Verboten's event could very well be the next "big thing" when it comes to celebrating pizza and beer in Northern Colorado.
