Plus, it's in a building that was once a school, over 100 years ago.
Unique 'Schoolhouse' Restaurant in Arvada, Colorado
A lot of restaurateurs might have come into this location and said, "sure, it used to be a school, but we don't need to get into that," but in 2015 when this entrepreneur bought the place, he went all out, going back to school.
Schoolhouse Kitchen & Libations in Olde Town Arvada is a Must
If you haven't visited Olde Town Arvada, you need to: It's a great little area in Arvada's downtown district, with cute shops, pizza, art, and a restaurant/pub right at the corner of 57th and Olde Wadsworth Boulevard (which is a pedestrian mall.)

The building itself dates back to 1882 when it replaced the wooden schoolhouse that was on the spot that had been there since 1869. When Arvada High School opened in 1920, that schoolhouse closed.

The building became a movie theater and other things over the decades, but in 2015, a local entrepreneur opened the building as Schoolhouse Kitchen & Libations, and it's something to see, and enjoy.
