Cliff Clavin from Cheers Headlines FoCo Comic Con 2026
Every now and again, an event pops up on the community calendar that catches my eye.
Anything with the word "Con" attached to the title generally have never been high on my radar. "Con" of course does not stand for convict in this case - fun as that may sound. It stands for "Convention."
And Comic Con is coming to Fort Collins August 14-16, at the Fort Collins Senior Center.
You would think that a convention like this would need to be held at an arena or exhibition hall to draw some national talent, but that is not the case this time around.
At this year's Fort Collins Comic Con, you'll have a chance to meet none other than John Ratzenberger, from Cheers!

Oh... and a TON of Pixar movies, of course! In fact, Ratzenberger currently holds the record for having lent his voice to characters in a whopping 23 different Pixar films.
Many, however, will still want him to provide some fun, useless facts as they sip a beer at the end of the bar. You might even ask him to start out by saying, "you know what, Normy..."
No guarantees he would indulge you on the request, but if not, there are also plenty of other special guests planned for the event this year.
There will be three "geeky days" with over 150 creators sitting on more than 75 different panels, in addition to exhibits, science experiments, vendors, artists and more.
