After St. Paddy’s Celebrations, Apparently Couple Couldn’t Wait

Without telling you exactly where I live, I will tell you that I live in a pretty busy area where people who are out partying regularly park on my street. My neighbors and I are constantly having to chase people out of our driveways during big events, etc.

As you are aware, this past weekend came with some pretty extensive St. Paddy's Day celebrations across Colorado... one of those holidays where people definitely get out and party.

For one couple - whether long established or having just met out and about Saturday, and we will never know - they may have taken the "out having a good time" thing a little too seriously as the day turned to night, and late night turned to overnight.

Imagine my surprise Sunday morning while I was out walking my dog, when one of my neighbors approached me and said she was out walking HER dog around 1 AM the night before, after the St. Paddy's festivities had concluded, and encountered said couple doing some unspeakable, intimate things in the street.

On the hood of my truck. In front of our houses. This is a true story. And she has the camera footage to prove it.

This seems like a good place to remind you of Colorado Revised Statute 18-7-301, regarding public indecency, which states:

(1) Any person who performs any of the following in a public place or where the conduct may reasonably be expected to be viewed by members of the public commits public indecency:

(a) An act of sexual intercourse; or

(b) (Deleted by amendment, L. 2010, (HB 10-1334), ch. 359, p. 1707, § 1, effective August 11, 2010.)

(c) A lewd exposure of an intimate part as defined by section 18-3-401 (2) of the body, not including the genitals, done with intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of any person; or

(d) A lewd fondling or caress of the body of another person; or

(e) A knowing exposure of the person’s genitals to the view of a person under circumstances in which such conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm to the other person.

The camera footage was grainy, so we couldn't see any faces or really anything too detailed. But it was very, very obvious what this couple was doing, and the prints on the hood of my truck confirm it, if you know what I mean.

I like fun night out as much as the next person and I'm not judging your timing, but I am judging the location you chose. One would think you'd have at least chosen the bed of my pickup over the hood, if for no other reason than comfort? But I digress.

We didn't call the cops. I don't want anyone to get in trouble.

But I hope wherever you are, and whoever you are, if you manage to see this article, know that there's video of your big night out circulating amongst my neighbors and you've provided some amusement for all of us this past weekend. If you thought nobody knew, oh believe me, we all know.
